INTRO POST
hey guys! so I just wanted to start out by saying I have never once in my life thought that I would ever write a blog. I am not good at writing, I don’t enjoy it and honestly I feel like most of what I say is me rambling about unimportant things. So, since you’re reading this, thank you, and be prepared. This blog won’t be the picture perfect, poetic, inspiring blog that you thought it might be. It will be very “Bethany” so to say. my grammar will be bad, my spelling might be off, I will definitely forget to capitalize words, and my thoughts might be all over the place. but, i will do my absolute best and i hope you don’t mind haha.
I am excited to share my journey with you guys and I am so excited to see how this year goes. I’m going to be writing about my journey with a plus world academy mainly along with other posts about whatever i feel like haha. i can’t say for sure what everything will be about, but, a big majority of this website will be about my sailing trip. down below you can comment and I would love to see what you guys have to say! a side note to that, I will have my phone but I will not be able to call normally. I can call on facebook messenger or whatsapp or instagram or snapchat or whatever other platform you want (and you can find my contact info in the about me page), but international calls are crazy expensive. so, if i don’t answer your call, I promise i’m not ignoring you, I just would rather not pay like 70c a minute or whatever it is. butttt I can text so, keep me updated! just because i’m halfway across the world doesn’t mean i don’t care. I would love to stay in touch with everyone and, as everyone knows, I love getting pictures, so, send me pictures, tell me about your day, tell me what’s new, keep in touch!
On a different note, if you pray, please be praying for me, my safety, my energy, and that I would be ready for whatever comes next (and pray for my wonderful momma who is somewhat stressing out about me leaving) please pray for my mentality, leaving everything i’ve ever known is kinda hard, and please pray that this year is great for everyone on board and that we can form a good community with each other.
